I have specialised in Joint Replacement (Arthroplasty), Sports Medicine (Arthroscopic Surgery) and Complex Trauma surgery. I have undergone my post-graduate training in one of the premier institutes of the country. After doing my residency training in PGIMER Chandigarh, I went to England for further training. I was selected as a Specialist Registrar in Orthopaedics on the South-East Thames Rotation – a four-year programme leading to FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) – of Guy’s Hospital, St. Thomas’ Hospital and King’s College Hospital, London. Here, I learnt not only joint replacement surgery but also had all-round exposure to all sub-specialities of orthopaedic surgery like spine surgery, paediatric orthopaedics, foot surgery, etc. I have also done a further two years of Fellowship training in shoulder and upper limb surgery (Brighton, UK) and adult trauma and joint reconstruction (Toronto, Canada).
